Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. If you have the ability to handle a caseload of 50-100 criminal cases from arrest through to trial, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively with prosecutors and judges, and use today’s technology well, please start your application today! Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Qualifications: • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Regular court appearances in multiple counties, primarily Gwinnett, Walton, Newton, Barrow, Jackson, Athens-Clarke, Rockdale, and the municipalities they contain. • Attention to detail, the devil is in the details, and usually so is the client's defense. Familiarity with CLIO, Odyssey, Peachcourt, and Trello is a plus, but not required. Compensation: $100,000 - $175,000 yearly
