  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a talented mid-level associate to join our Banking group in the Chicago office. This position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to work on complex finance matters while contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft and negotiate commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents.
    • Advise on UCC matters and general corporate law.
    • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on a wide range of finance transactions.
    • Provide strategic legal guidance on banking, lending, and financing issues.
    • Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to business development efforts.

     

    Qualifications:

    • JD from a top-tier law school.
    • 3–5 years of experience in finance and corporate law, ideally in a law firm setting.
    • Solid experience with loan documents, UCC filings, and finance transactions.
    • Exceptional academic credentials and law firm experience.
    • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
    • A proactive, client-focused approach to legal practice.

     

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Competitive base salary ranging from $260,000 - $390,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
    • Hybrid work model: In-office Monday through Thursday with flexibility for remote work.

    $310,000-$420,000 per year
