Job Summary

Cohen and Acampora in East Haven, Connecticut seeks a dedicated full-time Attorney with preferably 10 years' experience who is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, to become an essential member of a high functioning, legal team that takes pride in working together to provide clients with exceptional service in helping them achieve the best resolution to their legal matters.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess skills in commercial and residential real estate, including drafting documents and negotiating complex matters relating to real estate transactions, land use, mortgage financing, leasing, business law, including purchase and sales of businesses, entity formation, complex contract review and preparation, zoning, drafting legal motions and other documents for court, attend court hearings and handle litigation matters, and possess:

Connecticut Bar Admission

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Experience Although it is not required, it would be a plus if the candidate has experience in environmental law, tax appeals, probate law, estate planning, and commercial litigation.
