About the Role

• This full-time position is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, offering the opportunity to specialize in true Construction Law. Once established, you will enjoy a hybrid schedule, with one day per week working remotely. The role focuses on handling intricate matters in construction litigation, property law, professional negligence, and related areas. From start to finish, you will oversee cases, providing strategic direction and exceptional advocacy in court. Working closely with the Litigation Management team, and the Managing Partner, to strategize when needed, you’ll be leading from the front, of your own department – yours to grow, and flourish, in a location that’s a hotbed of Construction and Property Litigation.

As the leader of the Construction Litigation Practice, you’ll have the chance to:

• Handle and litigate high-profile construction cases.
• Develop and execute strategic approaches to complex litigation.
• Mentor and grow the Construction Litigation team.
• Represent clients with professionalism and skill in court.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $180,000 – $220,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional who meets the following criteria:

• Expertise in Construction Law and Property Law: Proven track record of successfully litigating construction defect cases.
• Litigation Excellence: Ability to handle cases from start to finish with outstanding drafting, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Strategic Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal challenges.
• Leadership Ambition: Desire and capability to lead and grow the firm’s Construction Litigation Practice.
• Educational and Licensing Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in Florida.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years specializing in construction law litigation.
• Commitment to In-Office Work: This is not a remote position, though a hybrid schedule is offered after an initial period.
