We are seeking a mid-level associate with 3-6 years of law firm experience to join our Energy and Infrastructure Projects group in the Washington, D.C. office. This role requires strong transactional experience in M&A or financing transactions, with a focus on energy or other infrastructure development, project finance, and/or project acquisition and dispositions. The ideal candidate will have a high level of academic achievement and a strong passion for providing high-quality work products and services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support M&A and financing transactions related to energy and infrastructure development.
- Advise clients on project finance, acquisition, and disposition matters.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys across practice areas to ensure optimal client outcomes.
- Participate in complex and high-profile transactions in energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including agreements, term sheets, and closing documents.
- Engage in due diligence and client communications.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of law firm experience in M&A, project finance, or infrastructure-related matters.
- Strong transactional experience in energy, infrastructure development, or project finance.
- Exceptional legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- High level of academic achievement and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to provide practical, clear, and strategic legal advice to clients.
Salary:
- The starting base salary for this position is expected to be between $260,000 and $365,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
