The Investment Management Group in the New York office is seeking mid to senior-level attorneys with experience in private equity fund work. A high level of academic achievement and experience in the private funds practice of a peer firm is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a range of matters related to private equity funds, including fund formation, governance, and investment structuring.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to fund sponsors, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients on the creation, negotiation, and implementation of fund-related transactions.
- Conduct legal research and draft a variety of documents related to private equity funds.
Qualifications:
- Experience in private equity fund work, with a solid understanding of fund structures, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong academic credentials and significant law firm experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively both independently and within a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary expected to range between $365,000 and $435,000 annually, with actual salary determined based on experience and other relevant factors.
