We are seeking a midlevel associate to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy (c/d/p) practice group, focusing on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in regulatory investigations or litigation, including consumer protection issues and defending data privacy and security class actions. Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security matters.
- Defend data privacy and security class actions, including claims involving the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping, and data breaches.
- Lead significant projects and engage directly with clients.
- Collaborate with a team of over 30 attorneys across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in privacy and data security litigation and/or regulatory investigations.
- Strong background in consumer protection issues and defending class actions.
- High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Tech fluency and the ability to engage with clients on complex matters.
