Your Opportunity :
If you are an outgoing and proactive Attorney looking to up your game and take on more challenging work, then we have an opportunity for you to work closely with our Senior Attorney in managing client matters and providing administrative support to help run the legal team. This position is ideal for someone eager to either broaden their legal exposure and understand how to develop professional relationships in a collaborative environment. We will provide training and mentorship for highly motivated individuals who show a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely and assist the Senior Attorney in managing client cases, including preparing and reviewing legal documents and contracts
- Assist Senior Attorney, in their Managing Partner role, to help run and operate the legal department with various administrative matters
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide insightful analysis
- Attend meetings, client calls, and depositions alongside Senior Attorney
- Draft professional correspondence and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
- Organize and maintain accurate records, files, and documentation related to ongoing legal matters
- Provide administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling, and billable tracking of client matters
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active law license in Michigan and good standing with the State Bar of Michigan
- 2 to 4 years of legal experience
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills quickly
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering results
- Commitment to provide clients with high-quality concierge level service
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Your Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience
