    Join a global law firm’s Global Operations Team and have a significant impact on the organization’s growth and success. As part of the firm, you’ll work alongside forward-thinking peers to provide operational support, focusing on cross-office work allocation, performance, and attorney retention strategies. This role is integral to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment across the firm’s operations, specifically for the Tech practice in California.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work Allocation: Oversee cross-office attorney matter assignments for Tech attorneys in California, monitor workloads, and ensure equitable distribution of assignments.
    • Data Analytics: Analyze productivity, utilization, recruitment, and departure data and present it to various stakeholders.
    • Performance Management: Assist with attorney performance evaluations, advising on sensitive performance issues, and coaching on feedback implementation.
    • Advisor Program: Support the execution of the advisor program, assigning advisors and soliciting feedback.
    • DEI & Integration: Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and facilitate the onboarding, integration, and exit of attorneys.
    • Training & Development: Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs, suggest programs, and support attorney development of core competencies.
    • Employee Relations: Consult on employee relations matters, ensuring effective resolutions.
    • Recruitment & Workforce Planning: Work with the recruiting team to ensure workforce planning meets the practice group’s goals.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.).
    • Experience: 5+ years in a related field, preferably in a large law firm environment or equivalent legal staffing and attorney development.
    • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
    • Excellent organizational skills, managing multiple priorities effectively.
    • Strong judgment, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
    • Creative problem-solving and people management, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.

    Compensation

    • Salary Range:
    • Boston: $133,100 - $199,700
    • Los Angeles: $139,800 - $209,700
    • New York: $139,800 - $209,700
    • Philadelphia: $125,200 - $187,800
    • San Francisco: $149,100 - $223,700
    • Santa Monica: $139,800 - $209,700
    • Silicon Valley: $149,100 - $223,700
    • Washington, DC: $133,100 - $199,700
