A well-established law firm is seeking an attorney to join its Healthcare & Long-Term Care Litigation Practice in Sacramento, CA.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 1–7 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Experience in medical malpractice defense is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Represent a diverse range of healthcare providers, including hospitals, physicians, nurses, skilled nursing facilities, and mental health facilities.
- Work on cases involving elder abuse litigation, one of the fastest-growing areas of healthcare law.
- Collaborate with a nationally recognized team specializing in complex healthcare litigation.
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar admission.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in healthcare law is a plus, but candidates with strong litigation backgrounds will also be considered.
