A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of insurance law, and the ability to manage complex coverage matters. This role offers the chance to work on high-level cases, collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals, and develop expertise in a broad range of insurance coverage issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 to 10 years analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions on first-party property and general liability matters.
• Litigation Skills: Experience with depositions, court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
• Research & Writing: Strong analytical, research, and writing skills required.
• Licensure: Admission to the California Bar is required.

About the Practice:

This team focuses on interpreting insurance contracts and representing insurers in complex coverage claims, including:

• Monitoring, mediation, arbitration, and declaratory relief litigation.
• Representation in both state and federal courts nationwide.
• Serving a broad range of clients, including primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, TPAs, MGAs, insurance brokers, agents, and independent adjusters.
• Handling matters across multiple lines of business.

• Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings.
• Argue motions in court.
