Remote Insurance Defense Attorney Opportunity

A distinguished law firm with over a century of combined litigation experience is seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join their dynamic team remotely. Known for their ethical commitment, proactive strategies, and exceptional legal services, we represent clients across California in State and Federal trial courts, including San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

We specialize in diverse practice areas such as insurance defense, personal injury law, construction law, corporate law, and general litigation. Position Overview

• The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in insurance defense or related litigation. While trial experience is not required, candidates must possess strong skills in depositions and case management. This role involves managing approximately 26 cases and achieving 1800 billable hours annually through remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Legal representation of clients in insurance defense matters.
• Case evaluation and merit assessment.
• Litigation tasks including court appearances.
• Settlement negotiations.
• Conducting depositions and related legal procedures.
• Drafting pleadings, motions for summary judgment (MSJs), and other legal documents.
• Collaboration with legal professionals to develop case strategies.
• Compliance with ethical standards and cost management.
• Continuous education to remain current in the field.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000, based on experience. Additional incentives include:

• $4,000 guaranteed bonus for exceeding 1900 billable hours.
• Quarterly bonuses at $35/hour for billable hours exceeding 475 per quarter.
• Annual discretionary bonus.
• The origination bonus is equal to 10% of collections.
