Responsibilities: • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution • Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs • Provide legal counsel to clients related to land use, as well as representing boards throughout New Jersey • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs Qualifications: • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required • Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school • In good standing with the NJ State Bar • At least 3-5 years of litigation experience • Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000
