THE ROLE

Our client, a global leader in sustainable logistics and asset management, seeks a Legal Counsel to support their North American operations. This role will report to the General Counsel - Americas, and includes advising on day-to-day legal issues, managing contractual matters, and providing strategic guidance across key business functions, with a particular focus on  operations, supply chain, real estate, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience from a large law firm and have experience in tech transactions and privacy. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as primary legal contact for operational matters in the U.S., mitigating legal risks and contributing to policy development
• Provide commercial and strategic legal counsel on a wide range of transactions and agreements, including those related to plant operations, asset management, and logistics
• Lead major transactions, including M&A activity, and manage external counsel as necessary

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally in supply chain/logistics, intellectual property, and platform liability
• Strong skills in drafting, negotiating, and risk management; prior in-house or large law firm experience preferred
