We are seeking experienced mid-level and senior associates to join our Litigation Group in Wilmington. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters, particularly in the Delaware Court of Chancery, alongside a team of highly skilled attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a broad range of commercial, corporate, and securities litigation matters, with a focus on Delaware’s Court of Chancery.
- Represent clients in defense of class and derivative actions, securities fraud claims, and bankruptcy litigation.
- Advise on fiduciary duties of directors, corporate valuations, statutory appraisals, and insurance acquisition transactions.
- Assist with representation of special committees and complex corporate governance disputes.
- Participate in both trial and appellate-level litigation, in federal and state courts.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents; assist in discovery, deposition preparation, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies and client advice.
- Manage client relationships and help drive business development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school.
- 3–5 years of litigation experience, with significant exposure to Delaware Court of Chancery matters.
- Experience in corporate governance, securities fraud, bankruptcy litigation, and class actions.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
