Responsibilities: • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs • Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks • Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects • Draft revocable and irrevocable trusts, amendments to trusts, and review previously drafted client's trusts • Draft and Prepare necessary Probate pleadings for a Formal Administration, Summary Administration, or Ancillary Administration • Draft and Review last will and testament, power of attorneys, health care surrogate, and living wills • Advise and counsel clients on the difference between trust administration and probate administration Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • Must be licensed with the Florida Bar Association • Salary is based on experience and to the extent of a portable book of business • 5 Years of Estate Planning and Probate Administration Experience is Required Compensation: $120,000 - $220,000 yearly
