We require the help of an experienced attorney to join our team directly and to assist the other attorneys and our beloved clients. We aim to assist our customers in making it out of the extremely overwhelming family law process in a stronger and better state, with a team that has cared for them and fought for them. Our firm is swiftly expanding and we need a proficient Associate Attorney to join us and be able to begin work immediately. A suitable candidate would: • Have the skill to juggle multiple tasks and switch quickly between them • Maintain an affirmative approach • Be able to confront and tackle any issues • Be a team member • Be able to be professional when it comes to clients • Be able to meticulously plan and be detailed-oriented • Prevent any unnecessary complications • Enhance the workplace atmosphere • Be passionate about helping people We are looking for someone who: • Has expertise in complicated asset divorce cases, combative family law cases, and dependency procedures • Will take the innovative initiative when it comes to tasks • Holds a minimum of 7 years in litigation • Can problem-solve efficiently when faced with an issue • Is willing to learn • Is motivated • Appreciates family law • Is friendly • Is an advocate for their client We look forward to your application. Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively with a diverse team, including individuals at all experience levels, and be open to cross-training for coverage outside of associate duties • Take full responsibility for handling cases from the beginning to the resolution stage • Effectively manage client expectations and cultivate relationships with both existing and prospective clients • Analyze case-specific legal issues and relevant documentation • Resolve matters in the best interest of the client, demonstrating eagerness and dedication • Provide leadership and guidance to paralegals and legal assistants • Work exclusively in-house as part of our cohesive team, without the option for remote work Qualifications: • Self-starter • Open-Minded • Trial skills • Sound Judgment • Knowledge of Court Rules • Evidentiary Hearings • Trials • Negotiation skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Mediations • Settlement Conferences • Minimum networking requirement • Deposition experience • Licensed to practice in Florida Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 yearly
