Responsibilities: • Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action • Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects Qualifications: • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role • Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required • Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000+ yearly
