    Perez Law, PC is seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Applicant Attorney to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing a caseload of workers' compensation cases, providing exceptional representation for injured workers, and ensuring efficient, ethical, and client-centered legal advocacy. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of California workers' compensation law, is highly skilled in legal research and writings, and can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Represent clients in all aspects of their workers' compensation claims, including hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlements.

    Prepare and submit legal documents.

    Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties involved to advocate for the client’s rights and secure favorable outcomes.

    Oversee case management tasks by case handlers, and case assistants.

    Review and analyze medical records, legal documentation, and reports to build strong cases and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

    Maintain client contact and provide updates throughout the case lifecycle to build trust and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

    Participate in settlement negotiations and represent clients in mediations when appropriate.

    Maintain compliance with firm policies, ethical standards, and California Workers' Compensation regulations.

    Qualifications:

    Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

    Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.

    Experience in workers' compensation law is preferred but not required; recent graduates with strong legal research and writing skills are encouraged to apply.

    In-depth knowledge of California workers' compensation law and procedures, is highly preferred.

    Strong case management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

    Proficient in legal and case management software (e.g., MerusCase) and comfortable with Apple technology.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
