We are seeking a team-oriented associate to join a Tax practice in either the Columbus or Cincinnati office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in state and local taxation, including sales and use taxes, gross receipts taxes, property taxes, and income taxes. Experience with M&A or nonprofit taxation is a plus, but not required. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, and will work closely with experienced attorneys in providing comprehensive legal services to clients.

Candidate Parameters

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in state and local taxation, including relevant taxes such as sales and use property, income, and gross receipts.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills. Experience with M&A or nonprofit taxation is a plus.
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice law in Ohio (or eligible for admission).
