Responsibilities: • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs Qualifications: • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision Compensation: $120,000 - $125,000 yearly
