At The Audiology Center in Bradenton, FL, our mission is to reignite the spark of life's genuine moments by enabling individuals to hear and engage fully in their surroundings. We understand that hearing loss isn't just a physical ailment—it's a barrier to relationships, experiences, and the essence of being human.
As an Audiologist/HIS with us, we offer a variety of schedule flexibility as an independent contractor. Our current need is for one (1) up to three (3) days per week, eight (8) hours each shift, and telehealth services to support our patients' needs.

Essential Functions:
We conduct patient assessments and complete various hearing tests to assess the patient's hearing ability and degree of hearing loss.
Based on the test results, audiologists diagnose the patient's hearing or balance disorders and discuss the findings with the patient.
Counsel patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and the potential impact of their condition on their daily lives.
Once the hearing aids are selected and fitted, the audiologist programs and calibrates them according to the patient's unique hearing profile. They adjust settings to optimize sound quality and provide the best hearing experience.
Perform in-house hearing aid maintenance or repair service with our manufacturer.
Educating patients and their families on hearing conservation, communication strategies, and improving their quality of life despite hearing or balance issues.
Qualifications/Requirement
An Au.D., M.A., or M.S. degree is preferred.
Strong diagnostic and hearing aid software/product experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with diverse patients, colleagues, and vendor populations.
Empathy and a genuine desire to help individuals with hearing impairment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A self-starter with curiosity, creativity, and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Familiarity with hearing aid manufacturers and technology.
Salary: $36.05 - $38.46 per hour + commission potential
