Solvet Services, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, has proudly supported the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since 2018. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hearing Aid Technician to support Baton Rouge VA CBOC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Audiologists in conducting audiometric tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Set up and maintain audiology equipment.
• Prepare and explain audiology testing to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Provide support with hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and maintenance.
• Document patient information and test results accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the audiology clinic.
• Adhere to all safety and medical standards set forth by the VA.
• Collaborate with other medical staff to provide comprehensive care.

Required Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Audiology Health Technician.
• Experience in audiology or related medical fields.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience, ideally supporting audiology services or hearing aid repairs
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

This full-time role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional audiologic care and supporting our nation's Veterans through hands-on technical and administrative support within the Audiology Clinic.
