    About the Role:

    As an Audit Manager, you will oversee audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with professional standards. You will lead and develop audit teams, build client relationships, and contribute to the firm's growth and success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Audit Engagement Oversight: Plan, manage, and execute financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations in accordance with GAAP and PCAOB or AICPA standards.
    • Client Management: Serve as a key client contact, providing strategic insights, resolving issues, and delivering high-quality audit services.
    • Leadership & Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit associates and senior auditors, fostering professional growth and development.
    • Risk Assessment & Internal Controls: Evaluate financial risks, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies to improve audit procedures and enhance service delivery.
    • Technical Research: Stay up to date on accounting and auditing standards, interpreting and applying new regulations as needed.
    • Business Development: Support firm growth by identifying opportunities for expanded client services and participating in networking initiatives.

    Key Qualifications:

    To excel in this role, candidates should have:

    • Audit Expertise: Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB or AICPA auditing standards.
    • Leadership & Supervision: Experience leading and mentoring audit staff, providing performance feedback, and fostering a team-oriented culture.
    • Client-Facing Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide value-added recommendations.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem fx, CCH, or similar) and strong Excel skills.
    • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to assess financial statements and identify risks.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to convey audit findings and recommendations effectively.

    Educational & Experience Requirements:

    • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of public accounting audit experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
    • Certification: CPA required.
