    Position: Senior Auditor

    Location: Cleveland area (Hybrid work - 2 days in office)

    Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + profit sharing + $5,000 - $20,000+ in commissions + full benefits

    Our client, a reputable full-service CPA firm in Northeastern OH, seeks a Senior Auditor to join their growing team. As a Senior Auditor, you will manage various audit and assurance assignments, providing expertise and guidance to junior staff.

    About the Firm:

    Our client offers traditional services, including financial statements, auditing, and tax preparation, as well as consulting services to support clients in making informed business decisions. Their specialized areas of expertise include financial planning, business valuation, operational controls, loan procurement, and forecasting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, execute, and supervise audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results

    • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies

    • Review financial statements, identify potential issues, and propose solutions

    • Evaluate internal controls, assess effectiveness, and recommend improvements

    • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff

    • Communicate effectively with clients, management, and audit team members

    • Identify and pursue business development opportunities

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of public accounting experience with a CPA firm

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

    • CPA certification or active candidate status

    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting regulations

    • Proficiency in audit software (e.g., AuditBoard, Thomson Reuters) and Microsoft Office

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills

    • Ability to work in a team environment and supervise junior staff

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with audit planning, risk assessment, and control evaluation

    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)

    • Strong client service skills and ability to build relationships
