  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a talented Autism Specialist to join our team for the school year.

    We currently have (2) part-time positions available. One position will be in the Salem, Oregon area and the other position in North Marion County.

    Rate Range: $52.00-$57.00 per hour

    Responsibilities would include:

    • Conduct thorough evaluations of students for autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
    • Administer and interpret standardized diagnostic tools and assessments such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R).
    • Evaluate developmental history, social skills, communication abilities, and behavioral patterns.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate degree in psychology, special education, speech-language pathology, or a related field.
    • Specialized training in autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
    • Licensure or certification in psychology, counseling, or special education, as required by jurisdiction. Certifications such as the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) are highly desirable.
    • Proven experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disorders.
    • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and assessment instruments specific to autism.
