Auto Body Technician

Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Auto Body Technician to add to our team. Auto body technicians repair damaged vehicles by restoring and replacing body parts, interior and exterior finishes, and more.

Job duties may include:

Removing damaged parts: Removing bumpers, fenders, hoods, grilles, and trim

Repairing minor damage: Hammering out or patching dents, dimples, and other minor body damage

Installing replacement parts: Fitting, attaching, and welding replacement parts into place

Preparing surfaces: Filing, grinding, sanding, and smoothing repaired surfaces

Applying primer and plastics to repaired surfaces

Inspecting vehicles: Inspecting repaired vehicles for proper functioning, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance

Follow all workplace safety requirements

Prepare vehicles to be painted

Requirements:

Previous experience as an auto body technician is required

Ability to utilize a wide variety of vehicle maintenance and repair tools

Basic technological and mathematical proficiency

Ability to follow all workplace safety requirements

Ability to maintain professional appearance.

Hours are 8am -5pm Monday through Friday.
