Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Auto Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, replacement, and installation of automotive glass for a wide range of vehicles. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, in a fast-paced environment, while providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Auto Glass Installation & Repair: Install, replace, and repair windshields, side windows, rear windows, and mirrors in vehicles.

Customer Service: Interact with customers to assess the need for glass repair or replacement, provide quotes, and ensure satisfaction with the work performed.

Glass Removal & Installation: Safely remove damaged glass and install new glass while following all safety protocols and industry standards.

Calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): Perform calibration of ADAS systems, including lane departure warnings, collision sensors, and more as required.

Tools & Equipment: Use specialized tools and equipment to ensure accurate and safe installation and repair.

Safety Compliance: Follow company and OSHA safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Inventory Management: Maintain and track inventory levels of glass parts, adhesives, and related supplies.

Documentation: Complete work orders, customer forms, and vehicle reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and the management team to meet performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as an auto glass technician or in a similar field preferred but not required.

Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of auto glass repair techniques and tools.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.

Stamina to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.

Comfortable using power tools and working with glass products.
