Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair to specifications -- brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
Where applicable, service our vehicle sales inventory while multi-tasking and performing what’s needed on our common customer vehicle (s).
Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur with keen attention to detail and no back-and-forth
Maintain an organized and neat bay.
Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.
On an ad-hoc basis, order automotive parts, collaborate with service writer (s) and sell job (s) to the given customer (s)
Requirements:
At least 4 years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
ASE certification is required for this position
Your own set of appropriate scanner device (s), with a need for specialty scanner equipment that targets European brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW and the like.
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
Clean driving record is highly encouraged
