With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we are seeking an experienced Autodesk Inventor 3D Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional electrical solutions.

    Position Summary

    The Autodesk Inventor 3D Specialist will play a critical role in designing, drafting, and optimizing 3D models for custom switchgear and related components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating precise designs that align with manufacturing standards and customer requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    Use Autodesk Inventor to create detailed 3D models and drawings of switchgear assemblies and components from 2D AutoCAD.

    Generate accurate BOMs (Bills of Materials) based on design outputs.

    Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet specifications and manufacturability.

    Modify and improve existing designs based on client feedback and engineering requirements.

    Maintain and organize design files in compliance with company standards.

    Conduct design reviews to verify the functionality, safety, and accuracy of models.

    Assist in troubleshooting design issues during the production process.

    Qualifications

    Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software.

    Experience in designing mechanical or electrical assemblies, preferably in switchgear or related fields.

    Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.

    Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate models.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Strong organizational and communication skills.

    Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field (preferred).

    Preferred Skills

    Familiarity with AutoCAD and other Autodesk software.

    Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.

    Basic understanding of electrical components and systems.

    Knowledge of industry standards such as UL, IEC, or NEMA.
