Automated Controls Engineer – Manufacturing – Base Salary to 110k/year – Philadelphia, PA

• Our client is an industry-leading manufacturing company. They are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to represent their company. This is a great work environment, and the plant is in excellent shape.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with safety procedures and review specifications and standard practices.
• Programming controls for mechanical automation equipment (robots, servos, machine vision, etc.).
• PLC programming (mostly Allen Bradley). Working with Motion controllers and HMI’s.
• Work with internal hardwired devices, logic standards, and general specifications.
• Review accuracy of CAD drawings.
• Help to maintain the and improve the quality improvement process.
• Provide technical support.
• Travel of up to 20-30% at customer sites.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree strongly preferred (BSEE/BSEET preferred).
• 4+ years automation controls engineering experience.
• 5+ years PLC programming experience (prefer Allen Bradley).
• Experienced with Motion Controllers, VFD’s, and sensors.
• Experienced configuring and designing HMI systems.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 110k/year
