  • Responsibilities

    We have been retained by our client, a leading provider of advanced engineering solutions, to find an Automation Controls Engineer passionate about driving automation and control innovations in industrial and energy projects. If you thrive on designing cutting-edge systems, optimizing electrical controls, and leading on-site implementations, this role is for you.

    What You’ll Do:
    • Design, program, and optimize PLC-based automation systems.
    • Create and refine schematics, system layouts, and instrumentation diagrams.
    • Oversee material procurement, compliance, and system implementation.
    • Supervise installation, testing, troubleshooting, and hands-on customer training.
    • Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance system performance.
    What You’ll Bring:
    • 3-5 Years of Engineering Experience – Background in electrical, controls, or project engineering.
    • Proficiency in PLC Platforms – Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or GE/Emerson.
    • Strong Technical Acumen – Deep understanding of electrical schematics, control logic, and instrumentation.
    • HMI Platform Expertise – Familiarity with FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, or similar interfaces.
    • Flexibility to Travel – Willingness to visit project sites as needed.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Exposure to automation, industrial controls, or energy-related engineering.
    • Familiarity with UL508A and NEC regulations.
    • Ability to create electrical drawings in AutoCAD.
    • Proven ability to optimize PLC and automation systems.
