  • Responsibilities

    This role focuses on integrating advanced machine tending systems to support various production units. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, design innovative solutions, and drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with internal teams to develop quotes and business cases for new projects.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and performance metrics for system upgrades and new initiatives.
    • Plan and execute action items to meet agreed-upon project goals, timelines, and budgets.
    • Provide engineering expertise in designing mechanical, electrical, and programming solutions for new systems and upgrades.
    • Support simulation, implementation, and testing phases to ensure successful project outcomes.
    • Prepare detailed documentation to aid in system maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Research and develop innovative technologies and standards to reduce costs and improve quality.
    • Stay informed about current manufacturing and automation capabilities.
    • Perform additional duties as required to support team and organizational goals.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, or Systems Integration Engineering).
    • Experience in manufacturing automation, PLC programming, and control system troubleshooting is preferred.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Strong mechanical and electronic aptitude combined with excellent analytical skills.
    • Effective communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
    • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds safely and frequently.
    • Capability to climb stairs, walk, stand, stoop, and crouch for extended periods as required by job duties.

    Salary info:

    $46 - $55 / hr
