Technical Source is currently in search of an Automation Engineer for our pharmaceutical client located in Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The qualified candidate will have experience developing and implementing automation hardware and software solutions as well as experience qualifying automated systems in a client-facing environment.
Responsibilities of the Automation Engineer include:
- Support the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing computer and automation systems, including process control systems
- Developing and implementing automation solutions as defined by the client’s specifications
- Technical writing of hardware and software design specifications
- Analysis of user and functional requirements to ensure adherence of requirements within automated systems
- Validation of automated systems through user test case execution
Qualifications of the Automation Engineer include:
- 3+ years’ experience working directly with DCS, MES, and PLC based control systems (DeltaV, ABB, Rockwell, Siemens, PAS-X)
- Kneat paperless validation software experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of the pharmaceutical processes and protocol around automation processes, equipment and systems
Compensation for the Automation Engineer includes:
- Pay of $100,000 - $135,000 based on experience and fit
- Multiple levels of experience needed
