    Here's what you'll be doing

    You'll be at the heart of our production facility, ensuring that our automation systems operate at peak performance. Your days will be filled with the satisfaction of optimizing complex machinery and the thrill of troubleshooting cutting-edge technology.

    You'll:

    • Master our suite of automated packaging equipment, including robotics, PLC systems, and HMI interfaces.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of automated systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
    • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues swiftly, minimizing downtime and maintaining production efficiency.
    • Collaborate with our engineering team to implement new automation solutions and enhance existing ones.
    • Program and fine-tune PLCs and other control systems to optimize our production processes.
    • Train and support operators in the proper use and basic troubleshooting of automated equipment.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste through automation.

    You need these qualifications

    • You have an Associate's degree in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience with industrial automation systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • You're proficient in PLC programming, with experience in languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, or Structured Text.
    • You have a strong understanding of industrial control systems, including sensors, actuators, and control loops.
    • You're experienced in troubleshooting complex automated systems and can quickly identify and resolve issues.
    • You have excellent problem-solving skills and can think on your feet in a fast-paced production environment.
    • You're comfortable working with both electrical and mechanical systems.

    It would be nice if

    • You have experience in the packaging or food and beverage industry.
    • You're familiar with SCADA systems and their integration with PLCs.
    • You've worked with robotics systems, especially in packaging applications.

    You should be proficient in:

    • PLC Programming Experience
    • SCADA Experience

    • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

    $48.08 - $57.69 / hr
