    They are growing their business and are looking for a Regional Sales Manager.

    Job description:

    • 5+ years capital equipment sales experience, preferably in automation equipment.
    • Develop new and existing business within the territory to meet and exceed company objectives.
    • Consult with prospects/customers to determine specific needs.
    • Prepare equipment layouts and detailed quotations to present potential solutions.
    • Negotiate and close sales with prospects/customers.
    • Provide customer feedback internally to help shape product development priorities.
    • Review and determine best go to market strategies with management.
    • Interact with controller regarding orders, down payments, receivables, pricing and individual project calculations consistent with company expectations.
    • Forecast sales volumes periodically and annually based upon agreed sales strategy.
    • Interact with the operations manager and project manager related to order lead times, custom tooling, engineering, and service support coordination.
    • Weekly feedback and updates with VP Sales reporting on sales activity including and not limited to customer visits, prospecting, quoting activity and market intelligence.
    • Written monthly sales update including closed and lost sales, YTD budget review, market update plus other metrics determined necessary by management.
    • Continual use of Salesforce and other CRM systems as required, logging interactions, visit reports, customer information, opportunity pipeline etc.
    • Overnight travel is expected to support the sales budget and likely 50% at a minimum, occasional international travel required, must maintain a valid passport and driver’s license.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic AutoCAD capabilities and ability to read technical drawings.
    • Four-year degree required, preferably in a technical discipline.
    • Willingness to accept other responsibilities as management requests to support the success of the company.

Our client will consider a candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, the salaries of current employees in similar roles, and other factors when extending an offer.
