The Automotive Alignment Technician is a key team member of our service team that will be responsible for maintaining high quality and safety standards on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce.
What you'll do:
Perform oil changes, tire repair/replacement and alignment, and other basic maintenance of vehicles.
Conduct routine vehicle inspection and test for needed adjustments prior to Quality Assurance.
Inspect and perform trouble-shooting of equipment as needed.
Maintain compliance with Freedom Motors quality and safety standards, policies and procedures, and OSHA safety regulations and follow both written and verbal work instructions.
Assist other areas as needed
What you’ll need:
Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
Previous automotive alignment/technician experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
Valid MI Driver's License.
