Job Description – Dealer Relationship Manager
Job Summary
This position is responsible for soliciting, signing up and servicing automobile dealerships within a specific assigned territory. This position is responsible for educating and training dealership personnel to develop their understanding of ACC operations. This team member’s overall responsibility will be to develop dealer relationships that generate contracts according to ACC’s established credit risk and profitability models. Interacts with department staff from the Credit and Funding Departments to ensure we purchase and fund contracts within our established guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Solicit, sign up and service automobile dealerships
· Educate and train dealership personnel on company’s products and services
· Build relationships with dealers by providing the highest quality customer service in the
industry
· Resolve problems between ACC and the dealership to enhance dealership satisfaction
· Develop and build dealership relationships across the various levels of management
· Identify ways that the dealership can add profitability to their business through the use of the ACC program
· Analyze aging reports and look-to-book ratios to understand the drivers of ACC profitability
· Ensure that dealer agreements are completed
· Follow up on approved deals
· Maintain a log of dealer visits and dealer feedback into CRM Solution
· Maintain an understanding of competing programs and services to use information to promote the positive and competitive aspects of the ACC program
· Conduct presentations, address large groups, negotiate and converse with a wide variation of individuals with differing needs and experiences
· Meet efficiency goals by effectively communicating with dealers in regards to closure, booked to approve and overall performance. Address any poor performing dealers and follow up on a monthly basis to see that the dealer is meeting company objectives
· Communicate a weekly marketing schedule and follow-up with dealer call notes for all field activity
· Analyze dealer specific data on efficiency trends, profitability and performance
· Review findings with management and address dealers in problem areas
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have valid operator’s license; clean driving record and maintain full coverage insurance with a deductible amount not to exceed ($500) on automobile
· 1 plus years of prior credit underwriting or successful sales experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge or experience in auto finance or automobile dealerships
· Existing relationships with dealers is a plus
· Knowledge/Experience with the use of DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL
