In this role, you will travel locally to diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and communicate clearly with customers to ensure their vehicles remain reliable and safe. Your ability to blend technical expertise with customer service will create a unique, informative experience for every client.
* Inspect vehicle computer systems, electronics, and mechanical components to identify issues requiring repair or maintenance.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks to enhance vehicle performance and longevity.
* Use multimedia tools (video and photos) to document vehicle conditions and explain necessary services to clients.
* Categorize and communicate key vehicle issues, ensuring that all recommendations prioritize safety, reliability, and adherence to state emissions standards.
* Order and manage parts in compliance with established quality and pricing guidelines.
* Occasionally provide valet services to transport vehicles between client locations and the service center.
* Possession of, or the ability to obtain, industry-recognized credentials such as ASE certification.
* Solid experience using hand and power tools for repairs and part replacements.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to clients.
* Excellent analytical skills to accurately diagnose vehicle issues and determine effective solutions.
* Good coordination and physical stamina to manage the demands of the role in a dynamic environment.
