    Job Summary

    We are looking for an Automotive Floating Manager / Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer relationship skills, strong service writer capabilities, and/or previous management experience. While you will be rotating between our stores to cover the Center Manager's day off, this is our development role to fill open Center Manager Positions. While you must come with drive, determination and some experience; it is designed specifically to provide you the ability to learn the Automotive Industry, Sales Processes, or Management Skills prior to being thrown entirely into the deep end. Whenever possible, we fill open Center Manager Positions from this position.

    Every day is different in our busy automotive service center! You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including overseeing service advisors, addressing customer inquiries, and managing required documentation.

    Responsibilities

    Manage a team of automotive service professionals to ensure a high level of employee morale and customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability

    Ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner

    Mentor employees on best practices for improving sales and customer service techniques

    Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department when Manager is off in four different locations

    Manage the flow of service department paperwork, including manuals, invoices, repair orders, and maintenance records

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required bachelor’s degree preferred

    Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required

    Experience as an automotive service writer or service advisor is preferred

    An understanding of automotive technology, automotive service technician job duties, and/or automotive repair services is preferred
