    Job Summary

    Are you ready to take the next big step in your automotive industry career? Our high-volume automotive center is seeking a full-time Automotive General Manager to oversee and motivate our talented team of professionals.

    The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions with at least five years of experience, and a strong desire to succeed with integrity.

    You will oversee daily operations and assist sales and service advisers in setting big but realistic goals.     Responsibilities

    Oversee daily operations, providing a positive and engaging environment that builds trust through integrity, honest and transparency

    Ensure customers are provided a detailed digital health check of their vehicle on every visit

    Remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met

    Recruit, hire, and train automotive technicians

    Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and peers to share knowledge and grow the business

    Maintain accurate inventory and asset management

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent needed

    Five or more years of experience in a general manager position for a full-service automotive repair shop is necessary

    Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends

    Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate customer and company-owned vehicles

    Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success
