Responsibilities: • Provide sales staff with best practices for improving performance by providing sales training to guide processes such as follow-up communication and regular sales training • Track sales efforts by maintaining an accurate record of customer data within the CRM system • Increase customer retention and referrals by maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction in all vehicle sales • Participate actively in the recruiting process to hire automotive sales representatives for all positions • Oversee all day-to-day activities within the automotive dealership with a focus on high employee and customer morale Responsibilities • Sales : Set sales goals, track progress, and motivate the sales team • Customer service : Ensure customers are satisfied and address complaints • Inventory : Manage the dealership's inventory, including retail and wholesale units • Training : Train and mentor new sales team members • Sales techniques : Analyze sales figures and develop effective sales techniques • Marketing : Collaborate with marketing to develop advertising campaigns • Policies : Reinforce company policies and adhere to them • Industry trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and innovations Other duties Hire and train new team members, Approve budgets, Help negotiate with customers, and Attend manager meetings. Qualifications: • Exemplary leadership, organizational, financial, computer proficiency, sales process and management, and interpersonal communications skills are necessary • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal vehicle sales regulations and trends in the auto sales industry is needed • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required - highly qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree or some college • Possess a valid driver’s license • 5+ years of experience in an automotive dealership setting, with a minimum of one year serving in a sales management capacity, is desired • Strong automotive sales background • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to use automotive software programs • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and scientific and technical journals • Ability to make effective presentations Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000+
