    A fast-growing business seeks to hire a mechanic to be responsible for all repairs to our fleet of 28 vans and related equipment. This is a SALARIED position. Salary is negotiable based on experience. 3+ years of experience as a technician is required. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with the General Manager in managing the vans and equipment. This person will represent the business and its values to all employees and clients. We have an immediate opening for a qualified candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and working independently on the same set of vehicles rather than working for a dealership or a large corporation.

    Mechanical duties consist of:

    Oil and filter changes as well as all filters

    Replacing belts, tensioners, pulleys

    Replacing batteries and alternators

    Replacing brakes, rotors, and pads

    Diagnosing and repairing most issues on the vans including emissions, electrical, fuel, etc.

    Perform preventive maintenance

    Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

    Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade external systems on an as-needed basis

    Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to optimize vehicle functionality and longevity

    Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)

    Requirements for the job include: 3+ years as a technician

    Must have a “WHATEVER NEEDS TO BE DONE” ethic and attitude

    Small Diesel experience a plus but not mandatory

    Must be reliable, hardworking, independent, honest, punctual, and capable of time management. Dependability a must!

    Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs., have dependable transportation

    At times, you will be driving a company vehicle, so you must have a valid driver's license and a relatively clean MVR.

    Other maintenance duties may be assigned as needs arise

    Compensation will be determined by experience and skill set
