    Job Description

    Job Title: Porter Manager
    Location: Berman Subaru of Chicago
    Schedule: Monday-Saturday 8AM-5PM (Sundays & 1 Weekday Off)
    Pay: $55,000-$60,000 Based on experience

    Prior Porter Manager or Managerial Experience, required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to the entire sales and service porter team
    • Monitor the performance of porters, providing feedback and guidance to maintain high standards of work
    • Ensure vehicle transportation, lot organization, and preparation of vehicles for delivery are completed in a timely and efficient manner
    • Assist with the physical transportation of vehicles within the dealership’s lot and service area
    • Ensure all vehicles are parked correctly, minimizing damage and optimizing the dealership's space for customer access and vehicle movement
    • Create and maintain daily schedules for the porter team, ensuring appropriate coverage for all responsibilities throughout the day
    • Perform interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles
    • Ensure the dealership’s interior and exterior are always clean, organized, and presentable
    • Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of the showroom and customer areas, making sure the environment is welcoming and professional

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Managerial experience, required. Porter Manager experience, preferred.
    • Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
    • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record (3 year minimum)
    • Must be willing to submit a background screening
