You will oversee daily operations and assist sales and service managers in setting big but realistic goals. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
Must have experience in sales / service writing
Recruit, hire, and train service advisors and technicians
Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sales and brand visibility for the shop
Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with customers
Implement growth strategies that align with automotive shop objectives
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy
Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole
Qualifications
Three or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for an automotive repair shop
Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success
Having a background as a technician or service advisor is preferable
