Responsibilities: • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system • Preventive Maintenance • Diagnostic Experience • Mechanical Repairs • Troubleshooting Qualifications: • Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • High school diploma or GED is required • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory Compensation: $70,000 + yearly
