Responsibilities: • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes Qualifications: • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary • Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired • High school diploma or GED is required Compensation: $35 - $50 hourly
