Our independently owned and operated repair facility is in search of a skilled and experienced technician. Responsibilities: • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships • Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach Qualifications: • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • Possess a high school diploma or GED Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly DOE
