Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities: • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED is required • Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary • Verified experience in the automotive maintenance and repair industry • Secondary training in Automotive Technology is preferred • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Compensation: $45,000 - $70,000
