Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities: • Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes • Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED is required • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired Compensation: $60,000-$105,000
